How does massage help with chronic pain?

Massage helps with chronic pain by relaxing tight and locked up muscles, improving blood flow which promotes healing, and getting the body back into alignment. A series of sessions can be a powerful companion to your existing treatment plan.

Can you help with my sciatica pain?

Yes, therapeutic massage, when done correctly and intentionally, can help relieve sciatica pain. Tight muscles in the glutes and lower back area often press on the sciatic nerve and releasing that pressure can help immensely. Massage also improves circulation which helps with pain and recovery, too.

What are the benefits of lymphatic drainage massage?

Lymphatic drainage massage helps reduce swelling, speeds up tissue healing, and offers pain relief from pressure on local nerves. Lymph doesn’t have an automatic pump like the heart, so manually moving the lymph helps the body carry waste where it needs to go and improves the bodies ability to naturally heal.

Can I get a prenatal massage in my first trimester?

Yes, Debbie is a certified prenatal specialist and always takes great care to make sure you stay supported and safe - no matter which part of pregnancy you are in. Mindful massage in the first trimester can help with nausea, headaches, and any tension you may be experiencing.
